It was an evening fit for lords, ladies, and their loyal companions. At the early screening of Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, the final movie of the beloved saga, the spotlight belonged not to the cast of the series. Instead, it shone on impeccably dressed pups who graced a red carpet rolled out just for them at The London West Hollywood, just steps from the iconic Sunset Strip.
The invitation said it best: “Downton Abbey’s loyal companion Teo invites you and your pup to an early screening.”

And arrive they did — from Dachshunds in tailored tweed to Poodles dripping in pearls, to pups dressed in tuxedos and fancy couture gowns, each guest looked every bit the aristocrat. Among the attendees were Gunther the VII, the world’s richest dog, as well as Hollywood’s top dog models and influencers. Cameras flashed and tails wagged as the paw-parazzi captured every glamorous moment.
Inside, indulgence awaited. Guests were treated to gourmet popcorn, crisp Glacier Spring water, and a limited-edition blend from The Republic of Tea — The Grantham Farewell Cup, a nod to the film’s final bow. Every detail carried the refinement and grandeur that Downton Abbey is known for, but with a playful, four-pawed twist.
As the lights dimmed, pups nestled into plush seats beside their humans, some perched regally on laps as if holding court in their very own Abbey. For one enchanting evening, Hollywood embraced the elegance of the English countryside, and the pups proved themselves the true stars of the show.
