Celebrating Tika: A True Icon of Dog Fashion & Beauty

On a sunny October afternoon just weeks ago, Tika lit up Rodeo Drive in a way only she could—full of her signature flair. There was joy in every step, grace in every pose, and a sparkle in her eyes only she could carry. We were beyond fortunate to capture her magic—this dog fashion icon we had long admired. That photoshoot perfectly embodied everything Tika stood for: glamour, confidence, and a timeless sense of style—a moment in time we will always cherish.

We had been saving these images for a special DOGUE cover feature. While the cover reveal is still to come, we wanted to share a glimpse of our final shoot with Tika, celebrating her in her element and honoring the legacy she leaves behind with some of our favorite DOGUE moments.

Dressed in hand-crafted couture by PawStyle by Luna, inspired by Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Show Girl, Tika didn’t just wear fashion—she brought it to life. Every outfit told a story, every pose radiated iconic magic, and every frame felt like stepping into a fairytale only Tika could create.

TIKA THE IGGY: The Pioneer of Dog Fashion & Style

Tika was a true fashion legend who stepped onto the dog fashion scene during the pandemic and took it by storm—one outfit, one pose, and one unforgettable moment at a time. With an enviable wardrobe of hand-crafted couture inspired by movies and celebrities, Tika redefined dog fashion and helped shape the pup culture of today.

With her own Instagram account, unmistakable style, and undeniable charm, Tika captured the hearts of millions—including ours. In fact, Tika was one of our first digital cover stars for DOGUE in April 2020 and one of the first dogs featured in our inaugural print issue in September 2021.

Tika was a pioneer of modern dog fashion—gracing magazines, appearing on TV, and captivating fans wherever she went. She even wrote a book, Tika the Iggy: Lessons in Life, Love and Fashion.

At PetCon, crowds gathered just to meet her, eager for a glimpse of the international dog fashion icon, and the face of Woof Gang’s Iconic Bites.

We feel incredibly honored to have met Tika and photographed her. Anyone who caught a glimpse of our Rodeo Drive shoot knew they had stepped into Tika’s magical world.

Rest in peace, Tika. Your legacy of style, grace, and joy will inspire the dog fashion world for years to come.
