It’s finally here- the most anticipated issue of DOGUE, maybe like, ever! “This is our first time styling a big breed and also our first time working with a famous Labrador” said Oli Port, editor in chief of the magazine.
“Bobby Costner is not just a gorgeous pup, he is also the pup of a legendary human; someone that we grew up with and someone that we really admire. Music and movies were my first passions. The Bodyguard was a movie I’ve seen a hundred times. Having the chance to meet Kevin Costner, in person, was a true honor, and a very special moment for us.” revealed Port.
“Every dog’s disposition is different, with some being more cooperative than others. We had no idea how Bobby would react to the idea of playing dress up with us, considering he is still a puppy, and this was his very first time putting on clothes. To say that we weren’t a little nervous, would be lying.” said Shannon Cooper, DOGUE fashion stylist, who worked on Bobby’s photoshoot.
The result: Bobby aced the assignment with flying colors!
“Bobby may not be a fashion dog, but he is very well-trained and really enjoys performing his commands on cue, in exchange for a ball, or a stick… no treats necessary! This made our photoshoot easy, breezy and beautiful! ” said Port.
“Bobby is very photogenic. The camera loves him!” said Cooper.

All of the proceeds from Bobby’s print issue will be donated to the ASPCA.
